MAD RIVER: The foliage on Gen. Stark Mountain is at its peak and is absolutely gorgeous but winter is fast approaching. The deadline for the biggest savings on skiing is October 15th so be sure to take advantage of Pre-season Deals on Season Passes or Mad Cards today. This year they are selling a family Mad Card which allows you to sign your children up for a FREE KIDS PASS. It is different from previous years so please check it out www.madriverglen.com . Regular Mad cards can be purchases through December 15th. Shareholders must pay their APR by 11/30 to avoid the $25 late fee. Some of the great season deals are:
Ski for $1 - Buy a two-day weekend ticket and ski Monday or Friday for only $1 more. Not available during holiday periods.
AARP Discount - AARP members get $10 off a full day ticket every Sunday throughout the season with a valid AARP membership card.
