MAD RIVER: www.madriverglen.com . As advertised the latest storm dumped nearly 5 feet of snow from 2/18 - 2/23. The skiing reached Mythic proportions, as can be attested to by the club members who stayed for the final 2 feet that fell Sunday and Monday. There is a little rain or very wet snow in the forecast for this Friday, with the potential of another nor’easter Sunday night into Monday. The current temperature at the base of the mountain is 30 degrees and the surface is a beautiful chopped powder with all 45 trails open. Visit,www.madriverglen.com for weather info and the latest deals.

Be there for a long lunch and listen to some great music! Check out her music at www.myspace.com and type in rachelallynmusic ( www.rachelallyn.com is not finished yet).

THE LODGE: A reminder to leave the lodge at least in the condition you found it, other members may arrive before the cleaning service. Also, if th e fire wood inside is getting low, please bring in more. It is pretty wet and needs time to dry. Don’t forget to shovel out the exit doors and a path to the wood and garbage sheds when it snows.
Also, the old key system has been replaced, thanks to Tom Fox. Tom is working on getting everyone’s key codes back in the system, but in the mean time the temporary code lock is still in place.
